SMall groups
The heartbeat of KLIFE lies in our small group ministry. Our desire is that kids would choose to participate in one of our small groups led by our staff and volunteer leaders. The purpose of these groups is for kids to gain a greater knowledge of God’s word, build Godly relationships with peers, and have access to a mentoring leader to come alongside them as they navigate the difficult adolescent years. Small groups consist of boys or girls in the same grade and are for students in 6th-12th grade. They are lead by college students, young professionals, or full-time staff members who have a heart for ministry and working with kids.
All KLIFE volunteers have been through an extensive vetting, screening, and training process with a full-time staff member. Your child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing is our #1 priority; all KLIFE volunteers are trained on how to lead and are given very clear instruction on healthy and appropriate discipleship for teenagers. Each volunteer also makes a commitment to live a life worth modeling and worthy of the calling which they have received.
Small groups meet once a week and study the Bible or a curriculum approved by the KLIFE staff. The time they meet is determined each semester by the leader of the group and the parents.
